I am trying to get a downloadable copy of the 7/2 & 7/3 1988 shows at Oxford Plains Speedway, Oxford, ME. The only versions here are streaming format only. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction.

"Chris in Youngstown" -- are you familiar with "sugarmegs?" Feel free to send me an email and I may be able to point you in the right direction -- were you there? Were you in Lake Placid in '83 for Sugaree as well? -- AshesRising (AshesRising@gmail.com)

I believe i have pretty good sdbs of both those shows, but i will have to check when i get home from work. if i do, i can always do a b&p and copy them for you. send me an email at direwolf0701 at yahoo.com so i have your email address and i should be able to let you know by tomorrow -(if this helps you at all). btw, they were real fun shows to be at (even with the rain) :)

midnight sun: I just checked back to see if Chris got these shows and saw your post -- recognized your name from the great response to my Alaska "Happy Anniversary" post. Were you in Alaska as well as Lake Placid?
Nice to hear you're turning your children onto dancing to "Sugaree" on Saturday mornings. Hey, nice description of the silouetted dancers at the Lake Placid show. That space was dripping in gold that evening.
...play "Yellow Moon" from Hunter's "Tiger Rose" for your children at bedtime some night. That version is the first "take" for that song -- some things are better left alone and they realized it. --- AshesRising

I have the boards from here before they were removed also. Let me know if you need copies.

Turns out I only had 7/2. Sent 7/3 to my bro who was at both shows. I'll send 7/2 if interested.
